“When you deny yourself your own self-love, you create a state of duality that separates your existence into two parts. The part of yourself you love is nurtured in sunlight and shown to the world, while the part you don’t gets shoved into darkness to fester unattended within the recesses of your being. Release the immense power of your own healing love, forgiveness and compassion upon the wounds that remain hidden within you, and feel the separate aspects of your self merge into one whole and happy being! Let the light of love wash away your fears, dry your tears, and create a happy life - there is nothing to fear in your past but the absence of your own self-love. ”

Unexpected rewards =]
For the second term in a row…I’ve been trying to incorporate mindfulness into my classroom experience. This means no daydreaming in class, avid note taking, and trying to follow each idea like it’s brand new—no matter if I’d learned of the topic before. It’s like celebrating every day that I am in class, because I am learning something from an expert in the field. Even if it isn’t new knowledge for me, it’s still a great time to get a new perspective to accommodate into my existing schemas. =]
Now…grades have come out for winter term…and it’s a second term of 5 As!! Holy poop on a stick!
What a fabulous, if unexpected, reward!

“A karmic imprint is a karmic imprint, no matter how small. Peace of mind is a forgiven and forgiving mind. Never underestimate the power of seeking forgiveness and forgiving others.”
